Welcome to John Harrison Church of England Primary School.

We are very proud of our Christian school, which has served the local community on this site since 1895. We have close links with Holy Trinity Church, which is located at the end of North Street and visit the church regularly for services and at special times in the Christian calendar. 

As our name suggests, John Harrison also plays a big part in all that we do, inspiring many elements of our curriculum and our school vision, alongside our church school values of hope, friendship, peace, perseverance, forgiveness, compassion and respect.

Our website aims to give you an insight into how our distinctive vision is embedded into all aspects of our school life, as well as providing regular updated information for both parents and pupils. Through looking at our website we hope that you will enjoy sharing with us our journey of Success Through Effort: Growing together through knowledge and faith.
